Ghana coach Charles Akonnor will modify his squad in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan against Sudan on Tuesday.

Injuries and new arrivals will force Ghanaian players to adjust their starting line to fight the Sudanese.

Captain Andre Ayew was excluded due to injury, while preferred goalkeeper Richard Ofori was suspended.

However, China’s Mubarak Wakaso has rejoined the lineup, and Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has also arrived at the camp.

Black Star players, technical team and management personnel will arrive in Sudan on the Sunday before the game tomorrow.

As they got rid of the long journey to Sudan, the black stars will perform warm-up exercises.

Ghana will not have captain Andre Ayew, who was injured during team training in Accra last Saturday.

Goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been suspended and replaced by Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.

Meanwhile, Mubarak Wakaso, Majeed Ashimeru and Jeffrey Schlupp rejoined the game after missing the first leg on the coast of Cape Town .

Ghana ranked first in Group C with 9 points after winning three games in three games, and a victory on Tuesday will seal Cameroon’s qualifications for 2022.
