Ghana Pays You…Stop Being Partisan And Attend State Events- Mahama Warned
One person who was conspicuously missing from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address yesterday at Parliament was former President John Mahama.
The defeated flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress’s decided to stay out of the colorful ceremony has irked Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II who has reacted by warning Mr. Mahama to start acting like a statesman rather than being partisan.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II stated that “Mahama should know that he is now a statesman. We heard the name of Samuel Ofosu Ampofo but we didn’t hear his name.”
He observed that the defeated 2020 flagbearer of the NDC has become too obsessed with NDC matters and had to learn to show up with Ghana needs him rather than serving his party.
“He (Mahama) is becoming too obsessed with NDC matters. He should know that NDC headquarters doesn’t pay him it is Ghana that pays him; he is too partisan. He must avail himself to be treated as a statesman”, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II.
