President Nana Akufo-Addo described how December 8, 2012 became the saddest day of his political career.

According to him, this was not only because he lost the presidential election at that time, but also because of the disappointment in the Upper West Region.

Akufo-Addo said that the New Patriotic Party “does not have a seat in the Upper West.”

The president said that this is a firm determination, “We reverse this situation, and God is willing to achieve a different result on December 8, 2016.

In a two-day speech to members of the Supreme House of Representatives in the Upper West Region, he also cited some founding members of the NPP movement from the region.

He added that “some of them had to be exiled and detained” because they believed that “they persisted until the last days on earth”.

Nana Akufo-Addo stated that he is satisfied with the people associated with the party’s 2016 pledge after the failure of the previous party government.

“In 2016, I was full of hope for what I planned to do. I believe this was because people accepted these promises and was also affected by the poor governance of the Mahama government.

It is the combination of these two phenomena that attracted the people of Ghana to vote for me. ”

He urged people to leave him on December 7th and said that he has proven to be a man of integrity.

However, he also said: “The situation is different this year. I have been in the suburbs for nearly four years. Therefore, I cannot just promise the future, but also establish my record and chairman for the President of Ghana. Shout out for four years.”

Speaking of his performance in the area, he said: “The area is implementing 2,163 projects, of which 1,299 have been completed.”

He said that the remaining 864 are in progress.

He added: “Of the 1,299 completed projects, 112 were in the education sector, 48 were in the health sector, 31 were in the highway sector, and 256 were in the water and sanitation sector.”
