Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is satisfied with the results of the 2020 presidential election.

He said for the party to be able to secure over 500,000 victory margins in the wake of tough decisions that have been taken by the administration in the past four years leading to threats from organized groups to vote against the administration, shows that the NPP performed well in the just-ended polls.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been re-elected President of the Republic of Ghana.

He polled a total of 6,730,413 votes, representing 51.59 percent to beat closest contender John Dramani Mahama, who polled a total of 6,214,889 votes, in Monday’s presidential elections.
