One death and one death, NPP supporters clashed and property surged

Tensions in the town of Nkrankwanta in the Bono region after a clash between supporters of Ghana’s two largest political parties resulted in the death of a person. Two people are said to have suffered gunshot wounds in the incident on Saturday and are being treated at Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital. The images shared on social media captured at least two cars and a motorcycle that was razed to the ground. According to the “Daily Graphic” report, the incident occurred during the election commission’s raid on voter registration exercises, when the shooting incident was killed.

Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Ali Maiga Halidu, Congressman of West Dormaa, told the Daily Pictorial that the deceased was hit by a bullet fired by security personnel deployed at the scene.
