Kamala Harris Officially Accepts the Nomination of Vice President

Kamala Harris (Kamala Harris) became the first black and South Asian woman to be nominated for a major party presidential election tonight.

She will give her acceptance speech as the first lady of colour on the main party ticket tonight.

Harris is the daughter of immigrants from India and Jamaica. She often talks about their experiences in the United States and her experience as a mixed-race woman.

Harris is formally nominated by her sister Maya, niece, Menie, Meena, and stepdaughter Ella Emhoff.
