I’m ready to help ‘complete’ Partey excel – Essien

Former Premier League star Michael Essien praised the quality of Arsenal’s new player Thomas Partey and said that he is ready to help him succeed in the Premier League.

Although Essen is regarded by many as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League in nearly two decades, Essien still ranks Thomas Partey as a more suitable sixth place than him, and believes that Arsenal will be better than him in the Wenger era.

“Thomas Partey is more like a typical sixth place than me. He is very good in possession, wins duels, has good speed, is good at reading danger, and he is a very complete Midfielder.

“At the end of my career, Arsenal can play well with players like Thomas Partey.”

The former Chelsea legend went on to say that his door will always be open for Patty.

“I know him, I have watched him a few times, and we talk from time to time.

“If he has any questions, he can contact me at any time to ask for my ideas, unless he plays Chelsea.
