Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, a women’s rights activist and communications minister, said that although Victoria Hamah destroyed her by pulling down the poster, she opposed firing her when she raised a $1 million question.

Based on this, the parliamentarian advocated that she should not politicize the advocacy of women, especially politically.

In an interview with 2020 Woman on  TV, the politician said: “In my gender advocacy, I am not politicized; therefore, it doesn’t matter which party you join. Even Victoria Hamah, when she meets When trouble comes, her campaign is also very aggressive.”

“Sometimes, it’s very offensive because she would park the pickup in front of my mother’s house and make a loud noise, tearing up my poster. When her problem came up, someone recorded her and she was removed. I didn’t think that her removal was correct.”

For her, she supports Victoria Hamah because she thinks she should be given a second chance, just like in the previous government of John Dramani Mahama Male colleagues are given the same opportunities to correct mistakes.

“I think that just like men who have made mistakes have a chance again, many of them were sent to the presidential palace at that time, and she should also be treated leniently, and compare the situation of women in the National Democratic Council that has lost democracy. The position is because of one thing, and the other is for those who were also found to be absent, but we were sent to the presidential palace. I think the political discrimination of women is wrong.” Ursula Ursula Owusu-Ekuful concludes.
