Ghanaians join the world to celebrate #NoBraDay
This year, women’s celebration of “No Bra Day” has reached different levels.
As expected, some women uploaded images of themselves without wearing a bra on social media to participate in the campaign because of the need to screen their breasts as a means of detecting breast cancer early.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in many parts of the world.
The entire October was declared Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today (October 13, 2020) is not Bra Day, you can also participate in the election by uploading a photo of yourself without a bra.
The report shows that, due to lack of information on breast cancer, 70% of women in Ghana have reported breast cancer cases to health institutions at an advanced stage.
