Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the President of Ghana. Sunday left Ghana for Madrid, Spain, to attend the ‘Focus Africa 2023′ Meeting.
The in-person conference Focus Africa 2023 describes Spanish foreign policy in Africa until 2023 and is part of the Spanish Foreign Action Plan 2021-2024.
Addo will attend the ‘Focus Africa 2023′ conference in Spain.
It outlines the concrete steps that the Spanish government plans to take with key African stakeholders, including Ghana, which is in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the African Union’s 2063 Agenda.
The President was accompanied by Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as officials from the Presidency and the Foreign Ministry.
The President will return to Ghana on Tuesday, and in his absence, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President, will serve in his place in accordance with Article 60(8) of the Constitution.
